Vintage Fashion with Mary | King Carnahan Visuals - Portrait Photography

Throwing small dinner parties is something that we've always done. Julie absolutely loves to cook and I'll get on the grill no matter how cold it is outside. We usually don't even need to have an occasion.

Well, we made up an occasion last week so we could have a couple of friends over for some grilled chicken and pasta - Vintage fashion photo shoot! We asked the beautiful Mary Zeller to model for us and had the immensely talented Ryan McCarthy in to do hair and makeup. Julie pulled some goodness out of her old wardrobe stock and we got to snappin'.

Senior Portraits - John | Senior photography Madison, WI

Taking advantage of this Indian summer we've been blessed with lately, we were able to get in a late season Senior portrait session with John, a soon-to-be grad of Edgewood High School. John is a very talented musician and wanted his pictures to reflect his love for playing blues guitar. Heading downtown to a location we had visited on a previous fusion shoot with Krakora Studios, we captured some nice moments at sunset.

Then it was back to our brand new residential studio for some more traditional portraits. John is very proud of his Colombian heritage and wanted to sport his favorite hat given to him by his uncle on his trip to Colombia last summer.

Here's one of our favorites - a happy accident when our key light flash didn't fire.
